Bring the beauty and fun of the tropics into to your home with the Swiss Cheese Monstera, also known as Monstera adansonii. This captivating houseplant is celebrated for its distinctive heart-shaped leaves, which are perforated with eye-catching holes that give it a “swiss cheese” appearance.

Native to the rainforests of Central and South America, this resilient plant thrives in low to bright indirect light and adapts well to various indoor environments. It’s perfect for plant lovers of all levels, whether you're a beginner or seasoned enthusiast. The Swiss Cheese Monstera can trail or climb, making it an excellent choice for shelves, hanging baskets, or trellises.

Care Tips:

  • Water about once a week or so or when the soil is mostly dry. If the leaves look limp, it's definitely ready for a drink!
  • Humidity - prefers added humidity since it's native to a tropical climate, but it can be very happy in drier home environments too.
  • Light - this plant is very flexible when it comes to light. It can thrive in low to bright indirect light.
  • Repot once you notice roots growing out the bottom of the nursery pot and/or it dries out more quickly between watering. When you choose a new pot for it, only go up 1-2" in pot size at a time to encourage healthy foliage growth.

Key Features:

  • Unique Foliage: Striking, perforated leaves create a dramatic, tropical look.
  • Easy Care: Low-maintenance and adaptable to different light conditions.
  • Air-Purifying: Naturally cleanses the air while adding greenery to your space.

Add a touch of nature to your decor with this low-maintenance yet eye-catching plant. Whether you’re a plant parent looking to expand your collection or someone seeking an easy-to-care-for houseplant, the Swiss Cheese Monstera is sure to impress.
