The Hoya Krohniana Black is a unique and uncommon variety of Hoya. The small, almond-shaped leaves start as a mysterious black color and as it ages fades to green. It will sprout white flowers, or peduncles, when it’s thriving as well. It is the perfect plant for someone wanting a low maintenance yet unique plant.
Hoyas prefer bright, direct sunlight and less frequent watering. Let it completely dry out between watering and let it soak up the sun!
Care Tips:
- Water when the soil fully dries out or when the leaves start to look limp. In a small pot, it will need water about once every 1.5-2 weeks.
- Light - prefers bight, direct light. It can live in lower light environments, it will just grow very slowly.
- Repot once you notice roots coming out of the bottom of the planter and/or it starts needing water more often. When you choose a new pot for it, only go up 1-2" in pot size at a time to encourage healthy foliage growth.
*Pet friendly! 🐾 Not toxic if ingested.*
